When we talk about compassion we talk in terms of being kind. But compassion is not so much being kind; it is being creative [enough / in order] to wake a person up.

Who is “being kind”? If someone is unwittingly about to step off a cliff (literally or figuratively) , is it the one that firmly warns them of it or the one who says nothing because they don’t want to “hurt someone’s feelings” who is being kind?
The Truth shall set you free. Your be-lie-fs don’t like the Truth. Is someone who brings Truth that runs headlong into your be-lie-fs the one who is being unkind or is it the one who refuses to speak Truth so as not to upset your be-lie-fs who is unkind?
